Has anyone installed the medium sport windshield? I was interested in it but my dealer won't stock any accessories so I can't see it first. Just worried it'll be too tall.

I've ordered the mid shield from AC. Supposed to be 17 inches as opposed to 20.5 inches.

I believe the windshield that comes standard on the '15 DX's is a SMA-8JP96-20-00. The one in the pics doesn't seem to have the same profile, which makes me think it is the 8JR windshield. Yamaha1973 can verify for us at some point.

No they are different. The DX models have the "Medium" windshield, where this is the "Sport medium"

The difference is subtle but I like the sport better.

Thank you for clarifying. I haven't seen a smoked 8JR windshield on a Viper until you posted your pics. I like it!
