Yamaha sport bumper discontinued???

Just ordered SMA-8JPFT-BU-BL. Yamaha sport bumper in blue. Turns out it has been discontinued...what the heck....seems like a popular bumper. I actually like the yamaha over the racewerks regardless of price...looks to provide much better protection.

Anyone know the where abouts of a blue yamaha sports bumper?

My powder coated has a blue that's a pretty good match. Can always have it powder coated.

Yea I found out in spring. What's weird is they still have it in the 2017 catalog. So I checked again and it's discontinued.

Are theses the same bumpers with welds cracking? Maybe that has something to do with it?

the red one was discontinued in canada, orderd one from a store on ebay, also the red "traction gippers" are gone, pretty piss pore. my sleds a 2016 and already they are dicontinuing accessories

This is the first I've heard of welds cracking? Was about to order one tomorrow...any details about this issue?
