I am going to be installing a coolant heater in my brothers 04 warrior this weekend and want to know how to bleed the air out of the system.... Viper is fairly easy with a screw under the back seat. How is it done on the warrior?

One could use the bleed screw at the back of sled but ultimately I found the only way to get all the air out was to drive the sled up a bank so it was an an approximate 45 degree incline and burp the system from the resevior. Al though I thought I had all the air when I tried this I was amazed at the amount of air still in the system.

This is how I did mine; warm the sled (not hot) and take off the coolant tank cap off while the rear is jacked higher than the tank. Crack the air bleed screw on the Rear cooler until straight coolant flows and tighten. Fill the tank back up to level and run the sled again and repeat. I did this 3 times before all the air was removed.

If you're installing the heater in a long stretch of hose, you should be able to pinch it off with two clamps, cut the hose between the clamps , then install the heater without loosing much coolant, or needing to bleed the system when you're done. (first release the system pressure of course)

Of course you will still need to bleed the system JD, the rear exchanger that's being installed is filled with air.
