Pioneer Perf also sells them. He has them on his web site.

What are the benefits of smaller rollers?

Drawbacks are that the primary clutch dosen't backshift quite as well at lower speeds. For example during mountain/slow speed boodocking through the tight trees, I found the primary backshift response to be somewhat lazy.
This is one of the reasons the moutain sleds have larger rollers.
Since I do a lot of low speed boondocking/mountain riding, I put the stock rollers back in.
The 14.5's did work well on the trail however.

I got mine from Ulmer. Also helped belt life

I switched to the 14.5 near the end of last year and loved what they did for my xtx. definately worth the change.

I'm considering it on my modified attak GT to lower my engagement, which is a tad on the high side.
But there are always trade offs and i'm worried the backshifting in corner to corner situations at high speeds on tight twisty trails will suffer. But I guess I won't know until I try it!

There is no reason to put the 14.5mm rollers in your Apex/Attak model as it already has the 14.5mm rollers in it right from the factory.

Geeez, I always thought it came with the 15's or 15.6's. Thx for the info, Allan.
Edit: OK, so this was bothering me so I've been scouring the various Apex service manuals and supplements MrSled posted on the site. Many of the Apexes have 15 mm rollers, but the Attak GT's (all "GT" series Apex sleds) clearly have 14.5 mm's, along with the "R" series Apexes.
God call Allan!
