We are about to stud up a 2007 Venture lite but have no idea how the tunnel protectors work. Looks like they are just some tall hyfax. I bet someone just forgot to order something extra.

In the past, I used to fasten these "tall hyfax" looking strips (i.e. tunnel protectors) up in the tunnel with pop rivets. Often we had to do some drilling, etc. Also, when you start drilling, be careful to not drill into something on the other side of the tunnel (e.g. the seat). You also want to measure carefully to get them positioned where the studs do not come up and hit them. Usually we mounted these over the track windows cause that was the only place that did not have studs.
