I recently installed a Grip n Rip bar riser on my Nytro. It raised the bar appox. 1.5 inches from stock which is all I was looking for.
The installation was a snap however, when I turn the bars completely to the right, the T.O.R.S. system is activated. I don't know if this will effect normal trail riding but wanted to see if anyone had an answer.
I can't see that I can adjust or re-route the cable. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Disconnect the TORS. Simple as that, or it will give you fits when riding.
On my '06 Nytro, the speedo sensor $hit the bed, TORS activated & left me stranded. Thankfully I was about 1 mile from home when it did.
After I found the TORS plugs I unplugged them, connected them to themselves & rode all weekend. No speedo & a red light on the dash, but at least I could ride until the stealer got me a speedo sensor the next week.
That being said, one of the 1st things I did when I bought my '08 Nytro was disconnect the TORS. The only thing that system is good for is a stuck open throttle & if that happens, don't panic & hit the kill switch.

Sure..... take a look at the attached pics for reference.
1. remove the "hood"
2. look on left side of sled infront of radiator.
3. note the black rubber cover (see pic)
4. open up cover & you'll see a white cap harness & a black one (matching connectors) black will be to black & white to white
5. unplug both & then connect the white one to the black one.
6. not much extra slack, be carefull not to rip wires
7. wrap up open ended connectors with tape
No, no light will come on. The TORS being connected to itself thinks everthing is cosher.
Just remember, by doing this, if the throttle sticks open, YOU are the one responsible to shut the engine down.
