This is a little project that I had the opportunity to do on my 09 Venture GT due to a crashed Venture EPS being parted out. The parts needed to do this jobs are:
Basically once you have all the parts, you work from the bottom up laying in the new harness and everything will plug right in as you go along.
The only thing I had to do was make another mount point for the oil tank.
- Top Delta Box frame with power steering server
- Complete wiring harness with CDI
- Motor to battery grounds with split terminal
- handle bar controls
- Gauge with EPS feature and gauge harness
- Fuel Tanke
- Seat
- front nose cone EPS controls
Basically once you have all the parts, you work from the bottom up laying in the new harness and everything will plug right in as you go along.
The only thing I had to do was make another mount point for the oil tank.

Wow, that looked like a lot of work! But the results would definitely be worth it.

Definitely a really cool idea. I wish there would've a kit for sale to convert an older sled to have eps.

It would be nice to see someone build something more cost effective.
