Just wondering what is the best assembly lube for crank and connecting rod bearing on a Nytro? Service manual says to use engine oil but I think assembly oil would be better. Was thinking of trying Torco assembly lube, is it any good?

Thanks

Personally, I would follow what the manual says, just make sure it is a quality oil or synthetic as I believe it sticks better than conventional oil.

I've worked on many engines, big and small. I used Lubriplate Motor Assembly Lube for many years but now just use the recommended engine oil.
