anybody have pics of where they have installed scratchers on there on 05Mtn rear skids?
looking for best mounting location, as far forward as possible.

Ya know, I mounted my wife's in the holes about 2/3 the way back where the suspension stopper would go (raise section of rail). I have had people tell me they need to be further forward but everytime I look at her track compared to others on the trail hers is just as snowed up so I don't believe it makes a difference. Anyway, the holes are there, they are the right height, and the holz scracthers are big enough that they act as bottom stoppers for her sled when I ride it. Good luck.

I mounted my Mountain Preformance scrachers all the way to the front of the rail, the end hooks on a bracket mounted to the front wheel.

I haven't broken any since they went to stainless steel either.

I don't have any pix but there should be three holes...the main bolt in the back holes and the spring/scratcher lines in the front hole. Has worked very well. Also, I took off the bogey wheels on my wifes vector because I could see the hyfax were wearing unevenly and they didn't seem to help (you could spin the wheels when the track was on flat ground like they weren't really touching). Thought I would throw that out there.

Thanks, Guys.

Trxster-- that is where is have mine mounted, just thought I could get them further forward.

Sled Dog--thanks, have read your post. but I was given a set of the rail scratchers.

LoneViper--that is what I was hoping to do, but i dont have the scratchers with that bracket. maybe i'll make one up though so i can hang it off the wheel.

I made these up for( 04RX 1M ) and mounted them on the skis
still testing them but they mist the hole front real nice

Mount them on the ski, that's best place to put the. I have them set up that way on all 3 of my sleds.
