Unless you know for sure, why speculate?

Isnt 90% of this thread "speculation"? Considering nobody has tried out a pair to give POSITIVE or NEGATIVE feedback or opinions?

I say whatever they are....it is better than what they were doing with their stock skis, so it must fall into the "Improvement" category.

Not really, when the part number is there and a pic, then it is for real. We just still don't know the details as of yet, so why give false info to others, if you don't know. This isn't a wish list thread or "What is Yamaha going to do for 2011".

Skis are $100 a piece plus whatever the carbides are but I get yammie stuff cheap Bad news is they don't have any in stock. Have to wait. I'm a lineman for a local co-op hench the name

Man that's cheap...

Just wondering why I never hear anybody talk about USI ski's. Have 2 pair PX-301 on 98 SRX 700 and VX-301 on 95 Phazer both real nice and they handle like you're on rails.

Had a set of VX-301 on my indy and they made a huge difference but the ATS carbide they came with were garbage. If the M-9 ski carbides are like yamaha stocks ones they will last a long time(5000+miles on my warriors from the factory,no carbide damage).

They aren't too bad cost wise but I have reservations about the parabolic shape for off trail riding. I've ridden parabolic skis off trail and didn't care for the way they knifed into the snow during certain conditions.

I'll be curoius to read the posts about how they work.
