GPS

I had a Legend CX for about a year and it worked quite well. The downfall was the small screen. I then moved onto a 76CX, same deal again, too small for my liking.

For the last couple of years I've been using a Nuvi 550, bigger touch screen that I can look at while riding, even hard wired it to my sled, so no worries about battery life. Initially I was concerned about it failing during extreme cold rides, but that was not the case at all. I just keep the backlight on full the whole time and it never had a hiccup yet.

The Zumos appeal to me too, but I feel they are too pricy.

That's good to hear, thanks! Regarding controlling the backlighting, you set it for daytime, regardless (not auto?)?
