Here is the install of the Air Compressor kit from Ulmer Racing. I tried to show mounting locations of switch, gauge, compressor and the line and wire routing that I did. I hope this will help those that want to install this unit into the SE or Mono Shock Fox Float.

Looks nice. I like those kits. It I ever switch to a Mega Float then that's a must. Please let us know how will it can adjust air "on the fly" as you bang down the trails. While not recommended possibly, that'd be an awesome feature and how I'd want to use one!

Can't Yamaha do better paint in the skids?
Nice set up btw. Be cool to do the fronts also and slam it for lake racing

6000 miles on that skid... it would be nice of the paint would hold up better.

Tom, Have you had anything else done to the shocks, revalve or anything else? I was looking at the Hy Gear mods, looked at Allens kit last year but so far haven't done anything.

No I have not done the Hygear mod but was thinking about it. I like the idea of anti bottom bumper inside. If I get some time this week I may call them on it and run that in conjunction with Ulmers Kit.

Nice job MrSled.
Whose tunnel braces are using in your last pic, are they Yamaha ones or aftermarket?

Those are Yamaha Accessory braces.... they had to be notched as shown in the pic, I painted the alum cut edges afterwards.

After many hours of testing and different settings of air pressure I have found that the Air kit added to a stock shock will add too much volume causing the shock to bottom easily if set to ride plush on small stutters. If we crank the pressure to resist bottoming then we find a very harsh ride. As a result we tried the Hygear Re valving and volume spacers as well as the additional anti bottoming internal stopper. I initially thought that you were riding a 2011 sled due to the Mega Float shock, but it appears that you have an 08, hence the comments on the rust in your skid.
