I pulled out my tie rod boot to inspect the inner tie rod end, How do you put the boot back into place. It looks like it should be sandwiched in there but I can't figure out how to do it.

Did you completely remove the whole thing or just the bottom portion?

I also asked this question but found out not all sleds were the same.

Going from memory, I believe mine were riveted in place near the top so I only pulled out the bottom portion.

When I re-installed them, I used some silicone spray and gently pushed them back into place using a dull screwdriver making sure they were exactly back where they originally came from.

I remember it being sort of a PIA but with some patience, they went back in no problem,

Good Luck. ;)!

Thanks, the silicone spray was the answer, after I sprayed it it was easy to push back into place.
