I want a factory service manual for my Attak. Yamaha is out of stock and all my local dealers don't stock them. I also checked ebay and nothing there either.

Does anyone know a good place to buy them?

Do they come on CD or book?

I ordered both of the manuals for 2006 apex sleds. The service update manual has lots of info on the 2006 apex models, but the main service manual doesn't cover the 2006 apex sleds. When I received both manual the main manual had info about previous versions of RX-1 with carbs and pro-action rear suspensions, not the mono-shock suspension, also the front suspension section cover older style a-arm. The wiring diagram were older versions too. Needless to say, don't waste your money unless you own 2003-2004 RX-1 models. When I returned the main manual to the dealer he called the company that publishes the manuals for Yamaha and for them to send the correct manual. NOT!! They sent the same manual that we already had. We then contacted Yamaha accessories deptment head and was told that the main manual was the only manual that had been published, and along with the supplemental manual covering the 2006 apex models. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THE MAIN MANUAL. Purchase the supplemental and wait till Yamaha publishes a updated main manual.

Can you give me the Yamaha part numbers of the manuals you ordered so I don't make the same mistake?

No need to deal with the supplement or the older RX main service manuals anymore as the new full Apex/Attak manuals are now available. We currently have 2 in stock that are available - if anyone needs one give me a call at the number in my signature.

Port,
What do I do if I have an 05 RX-1?
I have been wanting the main manual but heard the same about it not covering the mono and other differences between it and the 03's & 04's?

Thanks
