I just ordered a killer lookin set for my Attak and would like to see if anyone has a picture of what billets look like on a yamaha? Should be here in a week or two...I'll post pics of mine once they are here and i've put them on....come on people lets see those pics.. :yam:

Read through some of the posts in here about billet stuff. I had a set from Tricked-Toys, I thought they looked awesome, but I never put them on. Too many people said they will ruin your track and look like crap after the first ride in crappy conditions. I decided to send mine back and put the money somewhere else. I'd love to hear some more responses about them to see if anybdy has good luck with them.

I got these ones from Gade-thrasher, a few weeks ago. I like them, and I will find out over the next few weeks how they will hold up.

Yes...please let us know if they hold up. I think they look great on your sled and would love to add them to mine(if they hold up that is).

Yea those look awesome, I'd love to do that if they hold up. Being painted or powder coated at least they should look good longer, then you can re-coat them.

I did see that Wahl Bros. has a set that has the ruuber on it. I have heard people complaining about the rubber coming off, but these say the rubber wears before the adhesive give out. Check out their site. I don't think they come right out and say they have a warranty, but from the way their site reads, they stand behind them. I did see a set on there that has a wider profile that looks pretty tough, and says it can run on studs at high mph with excelent wear results.

coming soon

Tricked Toys is in process of testing new wheels with rubber, should be out soon, I hope. The company posted some info on doo talk in the mach z forum.

if you do aggressive trail riding with studs ..forget it your wasting your money.....
now powder/mountain is a different story...

anybody seen slydogs wheels yet, they are composite, may hold up better than the aluminum ones..... who knows..... i have heard for hard trail riding the aluminum durability is an issue... but i have never tried them either....

they are designed for snow induction into the skid and then out...they arent as :bling as the billets but uhmw will be way more forgiving

There is a place in Alberta that makes a carbon fibre wheel, I was looking at them before I got the billet ones, the website is attached.

Steve

I just ordered some of their carbon fiber wheels to install on a Apex that I'm currently working on. I'll post some pictures once the sled is done. Won't be for a few more weeks though.

I'd love a set of the carbon A arms with aluminum pins...Have to play the lottery for those babies

STS! I noticed in your picture there are no billeted wheels on the rear inside. Which are the wheels that are having trouble. Any reason you didn't put the alum. wheels inside?
