Guys, could use a hand. Looking for another source (direct?) for this part. I've had it on order for over a month with Hi Performance Engineering (part# 210-510). All I'm getting is new anticipated delivery dates. It's time to ride, tired of waiting. Any ideas?

I talked to Driven Products (the mfg.) this morning about the Yamaha adjuster blocks and was told that they should be shipping the blocks to Hi Performance Engineering tomorrow, which means that they should be available later this week. ;)! No one else has them in stock, so just hang tight a little longer.

It's tough playing the waiting game especially when there's ridable snow on the ground, but it looks like you should have them soon. At least the installation of the blocks is a snap (ring).

AL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What the heck are you doin here?????? Nice site isn't it? Do you have that sled back together yet? We are heading up to Grayling this weekend to take a test ride, are you coming up????

Daryl

Had to grin when I saw your name. Yup, sled back together, lookin great with Graphics FX stuff. Jordan came through big time for me. Really happy with it.

Came over here tryin to stir up some stuff/learn what's goin on with the suspension. No surprise for you there eh? Same problem with this suspension so far. More questions than answers. Getting time to become creative again...... but you already know I'm up for a good challenge there.

You taking yours out for the first time? We'll be coming up for the day. Wanting to try some stuff, so even if it's nice won't be riding much. Wanting to get it dialed in before the regulars start showing up. This thing better come through for me, or I'll never hear the end of it.... :4STroke:

I plan on taking it out for a spin to break in the engine. I haven't even adjusted the track tension yet and I need to hook up a heated shield plug too. Stop by if you're in the area and check out the new ride. I'll P.M. you the directions.

I raised such a commotion, thought I would update. Hi Perf. called today saying the cams were in. I had them send me a set, and asked if they had ordered any extras. The said they had 2 pair not spoken for. Thought I'd pass the info on. -Al

<<<Is it a bigger block for more tension on the torsion springs?>>>

I'd feel better about answering if they were in my hand, but yes, that's the idea. There's a fourth side to the cam that's supposed to be something like 15% more preload than stock. Some help for those in the F.A.R.C. (fat #*$&@ riders club) or riding aggressively (or both).

note: FARC was established by a nut hanging out on HCS (RogersXCR), not my idea, but I love it.
