Would like to put some Apex bars on the RX-1, does anyone have a pic or schematic of the correct wiring (parallel vs. series)? Am I going to blow any fuses?

First of all, you want the 06 bars, not the 07 bars. The 06 bars have heated grips, 07 bars have heat elements that tape on the bar and then the grips slide over them. They just don't get as hot as the 06.
Then you have 2 choices. Last year i ran my 06 bars hooked up the way that the 05 bars were hooked up. One wire from the right grip goes to the power wire coming up the steering column. One wire from the left grip goes to the ground(black) wire coming up the column. The two wires left go to each other. In a circle, just like the 05 bars are wired. I thought mine were pretty good, but not as hot as the 05 bars.
Your next choice is to hook them in parallel. Take one wire from the left grip and one wire from the right grip and hook together. Put these 2 wires to the hot wire. Hook the other 2 wires together and put both of them to the black ground wire. They get very hot and you will probably only need 1 or 2 bars on the heat setting.
I have the 07 bars also and even with the jumper set that comes with them, they don't as hot as the 06 bars, even when the 06 grips are in series.

Ther is also a 33 or so page post than goes into get detail on the 06-07 bars.

Thanks for the info./links. Seems to be somewhat of a can-of-worms, but parallel set low should work. I like the '06 bars as an upgrade for the bar ends and larger dia. but softer rubber. Cheers.
