15 inch track on a Phazer

Can you do it and how hard is it?

No you cannot, main reason being the room just isn't there. You can get a 15" track and cut it down with a few of your buddies and a table saw.

Ok, so the drive cogs are of standard width but the track is just to wide. That's what I thought.

A buddy that I ride with has a couple Polaris Trail 550 RMKs that he "rents" to people to make our overall trips cheaper and so we can introduce new people to sledding. Anyway, last Jan the 06' burned up on the first day, less than 500 miles and the second day the 07' burned up, less than 200 miles.

He had been talking to me about trying to find a couple Phazers for him but it seems that the only ones for sale are short tracks. He has a couple extra tracks so he asked me to check on it.

Well today on our first day in the Snowy Range the 06' melted down again, so know he's REALLY thinking of getting the Phazers.
