2009 Phazer MTX
The issue it the rear shock on the Phazer is setup different than the other mountain sleds. The rest use a pair of rods on either side of the shock to control the arm/rod relationship where as the Phazer has the oddball cam style shock setup that is connected to the front linkage with the infamous "billet link". Trust me, I've been trying to find a way to "float" the rear shock but every way I come up with adds more weight than the float would reduce. Its EASY to put a float in the front though. I picked up a 13.125" one made for a Skidoo SC4 skid and it fits perfectly in the front of my skid with just a spacer to keep it centered on the arm mount. The front shock does the majority of the work on the phazer anyhow. How it rides, I don't know, I still have to get the skid and 144" freeride installed yet and wait for the white fluffy stuff.
