Well I've never posted a build before. I'm usually not to quick with the camera. Especially when I get into it. But this time around I did manage to snap a couple of pics. Both sleds had some slight mod's done last year. So this year I did a bit more.
Both sleds ready to come apart.
Here is a pick from last year

I decided to do both sleds at the same time. Makes for a bigger pile of parts but it seemed to work out well.

Nice, what brand are those skid plates? Have to get one soon for my Nytro.

Old ripsaw ready to come out.
No broken bolt. Was very surprised to see this on both sleds. Since I've read so much on the broken bolt issue. Lets keep the finger crossed for this season.
Old tracks out, ready to take out the tunnel protectors. This job was nerve-wracking. I used my Dremel tool with cut off wheel. Nearly got the heat exchanger ones done when the tool starts to smoke and dies on me!!! Had no choice but to get out the 4" grinder.
With lots of sweat and patience finally got he coolers all cleaned up.

Skinz, I like them. But the "Roest" skid plate looks real good to.
Next step was to get the Avid 9T drivers on. I used my press to remove the old drivers and press on the new ones.
I'm really looking forward to the off trail performance of the 2" Challenger, especially coming from the stock ripsaw.
Ok I added a bit of "bling"
Exhaust donuts were good, again a bit of a surprise considering how many have not had good luck with them.
Used part of the tunnel protector to make a nice shield for the break light wire. I think it turned out well.
One zip tie and were done.

With the tunnel protector's out there is plenty of room for the 2" track.
Skid back in on the white sled. I'm wondering how lose is to lose? Does this look right? Anyone running Avid's with the track this lose?
NExt step was to change the oil and filter. I put on the Wix 1385 filter. It is about 1/2 -3/4 of a inch longer than the stock Yamaha filter. So I decided to trim the belly pan for safe measure.

I had ordered the ROV from Bill last year and never got it installed until last week. Its a beautiful thing. Looks like its from the factory. Thanks Bill.

Looks great!
With the stud protectors in how much clearance or lack there of was there? It looks like the track may have cleared with them in there or only hit with the top 1/8" of the nub? Just curious thanks!

Yea, in the picture it looks like allot of room, but its only 3/4 of a inch at best. I'm sure if I would have gone with the notched 2" challenger I could have left the tunnel protectors in.

Roest IP vent install. Went fairly smooth. I used my new Dremel tool with a cut of blade. Very nice quality stuff.
Also did there Gauge pod relocate. This I think is my favourite mod this year.

I also had to re do the ball joint's on my sled(Blue) ordered a set from SLEDTOYZ. Great service, fast and easy. I needed to use the shim pack they offer.
