Just saw your post I used to follow things a lot closer back in the day.
Still have that kit installed on my Apex short track. I’m going to say it’s not worth it. You might pick up a bit of horsepower over stock but no where near 172hp.
Hard to watch and sad to see! Maybe next year! Maybe.
Yamaha faithful are leaving to other brands I’m pretty sure.
Mr. Sled how is the traffic on the site is it up overall or down. My gut says down but maybe it’s just me.
So my mono skid has a air shock and I always air it down completely to install making it easier to compress. Can you take all the preload off the spring to make it easier to compress
You can track him down on facebook they have a page Turbor Performance, just ask him to make you one. If that doesn't work PM me I might have his contact info somewhere
I have a Turbor Performance replacement. I posted a bunch of pictures of it in a post in February. Its a decent header super nice guy. I have some concern about the lack of supports but I've had no issues yet. I put on another 1200 miles after the replacement. Sounds good a bit deeper but I'm...
I'm thinking its going to be almost identical to stock power levels. Not sure when I'm going to get out I'm from Port Perry and all our snow is done now. Might get another Northern trip in this year
So I called Turbor Performance on Friday morning 4 days ago and today in the afternoon I got a nice shinny new header to install! It looks very durable and the fitment was very good. Just had to use longer screws to get the clamps started, then once together I was able to use the original...
Ya I've seen a few dyno's sheets for the 2011+ apex's one was a peak power just after 10200rpm from Hurricane. Pretty sure Ulmer was saying 10,600-10,800 for his setup. Never heard anyone go as high as 11,000 for peak power but maybe like Stubby says with Ulmers header
Would love to support Ulmers but its 1800$ Canadian for that unit I think I try and find the Canadian vendor. So no one recommends getting it repaired? Talked to one welder he seemed hesitant to fix it.
So I've got around 12500miles on my 2011 apex se and the exhaust pipe finally failed me! Can they be welded back together or is that it? I guess if its broken what should I upgrade it with?
And here's my old girl on a better day
Ok I got off my #*$&@ and measured the space right after the C bracket and I have 1 11/16" from the bottom of the tunnel to the top of the protector and that distance is the same right in front of the heater exchanger as well. The measurement at the exup exhaust is harder to take if you need that...
