Yep, I am still Randy (as far as I know). I wanted to ride with you folks more, but needed to spend time with my adult son who was along. We had ridden Kingston Plains area on Thursday and he flipped his sled and was a bit banged up. He didn't ride very far Sat and Sun, so it kind of limited...

Just curious who the TY members were that I rode with on Friday at the TY Giveaway Ride. I can't remember any names, sorry. This group rode off Nowhere road SW of town.

It will get around as long as you stay out of the trees and off the steep and deep. Unfortunately there is a lot of both around Cooke City. The biggest thing to remember is to use gravity to your advantage. If it were me, I would a rent a true mountain sled, at least for part of the time...

Anybody have a Speedo pickup (the electronic sensor that mounts to the drive axle bearing cage)? I'll be at the Giveaway Ride if you are going and can bring it.

I have learned that math will only get you close. I do all the math I can to start with, but then there is no substitute for mock-up and pre-fitting. Remember tracks can vary from nominal size especially in actual inner circumference by several inches. What should fit using math, sometimes...
