I will keep the yamaha till it dies. I did put a 13 mm swaybar in and it helped in the corners alot. Amazing how a little change can make a big difference.

Its Has been a long time since any information has been put out..April of 2015.. i hope Rx1 is still alive, i know mine is and running strong. I did the radiator mod and it is awsome. No overheats on hardpack or minimal snow. Great post.... im glad i did it!

Just installed the wrp seat and it is real nice. Hight is good seat is comfortable. Not sure but i may need a bar riser.

Just added the the WRP seat for my 03 rx1 amd it is real nice . Firm and sits me up a little higher. Very comfortable.

Also being an 04 you could dump alot of bills at it when you could buy a newer sled for less than 4g.

Yes sell it for parts. Not worth breakimg down in the sticks. You most likely have serious engime damage.
