Same boat here. But I am 62. Rode an 850 VR1 Dynamix earlier this year in a bumpy trail (a friend bought one}. I have to say it was incredible and the nicest suspension I have ever rode. Steered very easy also. Unbelievable watching the 4 shocks doing their thing while accelerating, decelerating...
I have the same tune on mine but I run stock weights with a thunder orange sec spring and a dalton 35/39 helix.I also run a XS belt. I weigh 230 and mine is studded up the middle with 1.45 gold diggers. I have seen 122gps 127 speedo in really good conditions on our lake. Most of the time in...
Thunder and lightening here this morning. Rain and 34 degrees. Never seen this before. Most snow is gone. Our lake ice is ruined. What a rotten year! Saw this guy at our local grocery store in the warm weather. Wonder where he was going?
From what I understand the tune will have more accurate tuning over 16psi with a 3 bar. 2 bar will be richer over 16psi. MS 16 sm with a 2 bar is 260hp. With the 3 bar it is closer to 270 As perTD. Maybe someone else can chime on this.
The 17 weights we use are the same as your 20 weights but the 17 weights are loaded much heavier in the tip. About 3.7 grams more. Steel 4.5 gram in the tip vs .8 gram aluminum for the 20 weights.
Use the stock 17 loaded weights and stock 35 helix. . Get the XS belt a good secondary spring {orange from dalton or orange from TP } and use a lower preload and rate Yamaha primary spring like the bl/sil/bl . See what it runs. You can always add a little weight to the weights or use a 35/39...
I use the 17 stock weights as is with a 35/39 dalton helix ,TP orange sec spring and a 35/105 Yamaha spring with a xs825 belt. Runs about 8900-9000. Smooth trail manners with a 2800 engagement. I am on SMPowertrail which is a little less hp@250
TD told me that MS16 2 bar was about 260hp. MS16 3 bar was 270hp and Powertrail was 250 and only a 2 bar is needed. I run Powertrail. Smooth decent spool but doesn’t blow the track out. Very octane tolerant. Runs a little more than 15 psi on the hour meter.
My friend got a 22ltx-gt. He upgraded from a 2017ltx-le. All he said was the sled was incredible. Steers and rides unbelievable, Can’t wait to try it if we ever get winter back!
