I have over 5,000 happy miles on my 2020 TF. The throttle by wire has such a natural feel and is derived from Yamaha's sport bike heritage. The power steering is also exceptional and makes trail riding a dream. It is a very unique snowmobile and I'm very happy. I added some extra wheels in the...
This is a review of the TF. Basically the same sled as the GT, but with a 151" track. I really enjoy mine.

I saw mid 90s on the trail with my 2016 XTX 1.75". The 1.75" is amazing in loose snow and pulls hard past 80, but top end and gas mileage is definitely sacrificed with the 7 tooth drivers.

When you're in reverse the articulated section is spring loaded and tips the rear of the skid up so it doesn't trench. The springs can be adjusted for different tensions, but I haven't played with that.
Nice call, Joe. Yes, most of my riding is done in the U.P. of Michigan, with wide trails and long runs. Three are many times I wish I had your Sidewinder power.
Lol good catch! I submitted my pictures of my sled and Snowtech put in the rest of the pictures, including the Venture MP. Guess that model needed some love too.
Hi Snorunner,
Yes, the YCCT is exceptional for sure. The seat height of the Venture is higher than the Apex and Vector and easier on my knees. It's a really comfortable setup. Regarding the air shocks, I would say it made a significant difference with bump compliance and especially lessening...
I love my 2020 Venture TF. Put on a set of Fox Float 3 air shocks to help with cornering and the drone has been a none issue in all honesty for me. I wrote a review on the sled in the fall edition of Snowtech. The price point was also a big factor in my decision...
LTX LE gets the Kashima coated Qs3 "R" shocks as compared to the standard QS3 on the XTX. Both great shock packages, the Qs3R are just considered top of the line.
