Have any of you had the hangers egg out at the rear upper idler? Mine went tried a weld with no success the smart move is to buy the bracket directly from Yamaha and drill out and re rivet. Make sure to use locktite***
Im scratching my head at this issue as well. 9000km/5600mi on my chassis. I had the H frame go the brackets go at the upper idler and now this issue all at different times. Not sure if my shock froze up and when the weight transferred up in the trail chatter it sheared the cross shaft this...
Well my exchanger has a hairline crack...wind outta my sails this season just dropped 2k on this thing in bearings, shafts and general wear parts. Great that you get a motor at wot all season long but these chassis are garbage mines been plagued with crappy welds, loose rivets etc etc.
I find this post daunting with mileages adding up and at the end of last season I went down with a coolant issue. Mind you my temp was up and down like a roller coaster I am hoping due to low coolant as it was leaking. I was able to trace it back to the hard line that connects to the heat...

In my years of riding I usually have this issue with the skids. I’ve gone through two sc-10’s and a sc-4 before those I had an identical issue with the 89’ Mach. I haven’t seen one...
Just wondering if anyone has had trouble with the welds letting go too?
I put mine through it’s paces roughly 7000km on this. Yamaha back ordered till March 25th currently looked into some wreckers with no luck.
Called cat and they can get it to me by Wednesday this week...find their prices...
I had a set on another sled and loved them. Buddy put them on his Ltx but was in a wheelchair and we modified the seat for his prosthetics with foot holds. He claimed the bit too much for him and sold them. So I can vouch they grab the trail very good and steering effort is moderate to stiff in...
Cool, I had to take my lever off and custom bend it slightly to the point where its ok to grab with a finger but still not perfect. The way I read the part list says that the cap reservoir should be included 2-9 no?

Were rounding down to D Day January 24th at noon and I'm in need of some help. I do not have facebook and limited social media so it has definitely hindered me throughout the competition. Any votes would be greatly appreciated. Thanks - Josh.
