You need to take the oil tank loose and let it hang to get at the tensioner bolt. I use a fish scale and hook it at the center point of the belt between the two pulleys. Pull it to 15 pounds and use a ruler to measure how far the belt moves from resting point. The tensioner pulley center bolt...

Please elaborate how it’s slipping off? Too loose? there should be about 1/4” belt deflection with 15 pounds of belt tension applied When the tensioner is tightened properly.

Hp is irrelevant, looking at boost. We ride around 1100-1300 feet. My rtx is easily boosting over 7 psi on cold days with a 26 tooth lower. I don’t want to risk boosting more than 5 running 91 octane. So the 28 is out. It’s been bouncing off the rev limiter when I punch it seeing 9300+ briefly...

No, the Yamaha Low altitude OEM had a 26 tooth lower for rtx/xtx. I just bought a different sled and already has the 28/28 for 3,500-6000 ft.
