It is a different part number like Travis said, maybe a little shorter side it mounts to the bottom of the stealth master cylinder. But if the stock line works for you I'm not changing it.

Did you change the brake line to the new one? If not, any issues using the existing line?

Anyone I installed one of the new '20 and up master cylinders on their Viper or Winder? It is a lot cleaner with the shorter lever, composite should be warmer than the aluminum, plus it mounts closer to the switch gear which will free up some space to mount things on the bars like my inreach...

recalibrate? For the insight. 24/50 is what I was thinking of changing to to keep the overall ratio the same. Did you have your speedo recalibrated?

My speedo is dead on with GPS right now.

To those who have done this swap: -has anyone changed gearing? (10 tooth 2.52 drivers being 5% bigger) -is the getting the speedo recalibrated an issue? -Any other issues to consider?

I get that, but would like to avoid the engine code as the stock O2 narrow band is eliminated (not plugged in). I have a yamaha O2 elimator kicking around from a motorcycle, same plug, 330 and 470 ohm resistance. Will this do the trick?

My biased opinion is low cranking rpms combined with lower voltage makes for hard cold starts when colder than -10F. I installed a couple 50watt block heater pads, one on oil tank and one on the oil pan and will plug it it when below zero.
