How the hell did you get in to add the hose? Did you pull the old ones off or just add to the ones in there?

There's a filter in the tank on my '03 Rx1 on the pick up line(hose) I used an electrical fish to grab the hose the you MUST use something to hold the hose to get the filter off. I used needle nose vice grips.The filter is an open paper type held on with a hose clamp. Couldn't get why they...

It’s not the rattle that concerns me, it’s whine and snap at full stop. The other video shows the primary snapping back when it stops.

Ok, took a ride and here’s a noise I’ve never heard before. Happened’s when I stop. Nothing when riding only when coming to stop l, no brake. Thing runs great! Hooks up at 3600 rpms. I’m lost with this. Just can’t get past the book saying .05 gap between shaft and washer with shim on the outside...

Here’s another look

Did my carbs. New belt. Now I’m seeing a gap at the end of the secondary near the bolt maybe 1/8” near the washer and shim. Book has adjustment with feeler gauge at .05 between sheave and washer. Also got some noise from the primary when it’s going back to idle. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Well we got a blast of snow here in NE PA and I thought I break out my sled. It' an 03 rx1 with reverse. Went to load it on the trailer and nothing but smoke. Switched out the belt, movement. I did notice one thing and don' know what to do. The axial free play on the secondary is about 3/8"...
