I figured as much, but i had to ask. I pulled the cover and nothing looked out of whack,. I even thought the chain may have rubbed the case as the tensioner picked up slack, but no witness marks. Glad to hear it is normal. Now we just need snow.
In my wife's Venom there seemed to be a bit more metallic contamination while doing chaincase oil change than i was expecting. The chaincase oil appeared pretty shimmery with metal. Has anyone else had the same experience?
Had something similar when running sustained speeds in the 70mph range. Belt had about 1000 miles on it and it was overheated. It felt like soft rubber and was getting stuck in secondary. Sled would feel like starting off in high gear and would not pull speed. Belt was folding from clutch...
First....Glad you are not injured and walked away from the accident
Two......if damage is over $1000 report it to police, then report to insurance. Documented not at fault won't affect insurance rates and you don't pay deductable. Why pay for somone else's crash.

Mounted mine under footwell. I did not want them banging track and skid. I mounted to where they swing in front of track. Works well for reverse and they tuck into the running board when not down. Rode on hard ice and did a great job on both hyfax and engine temps.
I run 48 in my wife's Venom. Length was 1.18 or 1.175, something trail friendly. No protection needed, exchanger runs in a loop that is outside of stud pattern. 48 work well and if she complains about traction i can always add 48 more. With the 48 it rides like stock but with great traction on...
TEAM Rapid Response II with ADAPT
This drive system debuted on the 2017 9000 models, and now it’s nearly across-the-board for 2018. The idea is beautifully simple: a roller bearing on the drive clutch (that allows much tighter belt deflection without wear) and a driven whose sheaves can...
