I use that location for my rail mounted scratchers. Had to drill the hole out a tiny amo7n5 to accommodate the mounting bolt. The location works great on the 137 skid. Lots of spray for the sliders and cooling. The scratcher just sits on the rail if not deployed From first hand experience...

Personally I like this idea. But if it were me I would keep the AC brand alive so I could get back into the 2 stroke market and maintain the Yamaha brand as the 4 stroke only. Still have common chassis and suspension components to keep costs under control.
