Did a quick start up (sorry neighbors!), and I couldn't recreate it, with or without the tether back in place. There were no obvious wire problems, everything looks good. I did bypass tors for testing, I'm guessing I'll probably just button it back up and do another on-snow test.
Anyone know if this is stock? Seems out of place. Relay poorly velcroed to the block right below the battery. Label has four stroke solutions and mountain performance. The wiring looks way too good to not be factory, the relay just looks strange.
Also... my kill tether has never worked...
Finally got in the garage tonight, haven't started looking yet but will soon. The good news is it is repeatable now and will do it on the lift.
* won't TORS only activate at a certain RPM? This happens at all rpm including idle.

I'm ready to get rid of my RX for a fuel injected sled almost entirely because of the carb boots! In particular it isn't the carb to engine boot, it is the airbox to carb.

No mechanical ability... Did he get creative and fill the overflow tank to level full? That would have held about a quart, and would have promptly puked it all overboard as it heated up.
