    06 GT Ohlins shock?

Maybe this is an old school train if thought , but a sled that's "jacked up" in the rear tends to loose more snow out the back flap and doesn't recirculate snow used for cooling and lube of th skid ??

    06 GT Ohlins shock?

Also the shock was leaking. "normal" for aged ohlins , they have a new design seal head for it and updated valving and settings they use for the shock now , hygear reccomends a "refresh" every year if you put on 1000+ miles as this mono set up takes alot of abuse

    06 GT Ohlins shock?

Got a call and my estimate back from hygear , it was rebuilt by them back in 2009, and is in VERY good physical condition ,what I was told by the tech I spoke with ,shock was functioning at approx 15% ,oil was like sludge , and the dual rate springs I have in it are made for 300+ lbs!!!! I'm...

    06 GT Ohlins shock?

I'm waiting to hear back from them ,they do a tear down and evaluation based on what the shock condition is and what I've told them I'm having trouble with ... I was advised from another that the dual rate sucks for this specific mono set up and I would be happier with the stock YELLOW spring ...

    06 GT Ohlins shock?

Just sent my ohlins to hygear , as I'm in NY and it's an hour away, some say they are great and others say they don't get much from one of their builds .. last year was my first with my Apex and loved the sled but hated the ride , the guy who owned it before me had the shock done by hygear...

    Anyone use ice ripper track?

N No, the track is in decent condition . . Approx 5000 miles on it and cept for one or two torn lugs , looks great ! I'm just very skeptical about studs , I don't drive like an idiot spinning everywhere but as we all know , the ape needs more bite

    Anyone use ice ripper track?

I guess I can take the good with the bad in that ... I know it won't hook like a studded track , but I'm just so worried about studding a 4000 mile old track and throwing one threw the exchanger or something stupid 100 miles from the trailer ,I don't ride like an idiot but I get on er quite a...

    Anyone use ice ripper track?

Life to an old thread ...I'm not for studs as I'm worried about throwing one ...so I'm considering the ice attack xt for my 06 GT 121".... Any one have any newer news or stories on these tracks for a stock 121?? Also I'm mainly a mildly agressive trail rider , looking for more arm stretching...

23 tooth Apex GT - reclutch?

Or ... Maybe A 128 kit? Lol Yes I assumed it was from the rod , but being set at "max" it has way more slop, hence how the suspension sqauts and "transfers" more weight, but hopeing getting more tractoion i can set it back a bit , minimize that travel of the rod

23 tooth Apex GT - reclutch?

So brining life back into the old thread AGAIN lol , I need to spike up my apex , stock sled , last year my was first full year with it , and again I love it , but she's to torquey for the 121" track, 1.25" .. anything under 30-40 mph and I'll roast the track , pushing the go flipper , or hole...

Apex battery jumper cables hanging off sled, can you charge battery using them.

Yes u can , what would be best is to get a battery tender and hard wire it to the battery and leave the leads poke out by the jumper cables , and plug it in when not in use
