I'm running the head shim included with the McXpress kit. Thought about a meth kit but didn't want to add more plumbing and weight. I do run it rich to be safe on pump gas. The thing runs as fast on snow as it does on ice and makes me laugh every time I hit it! Its a shame they are so...
Come borrow my MCX Nytro XTX and tell your buddy you spent a late night tuning in the garage! Check the link of a run I made at NBSSR. This is with 12psi boost running pump gas everything in full trail mode...
I would start with gearing your sled to run a target speed of say 120mph then play with the clutching in that order. At 112mph on GPS you are right out of gear with 21/39 so it won't won't matter how much power you add it won't go any faster. How could it go any faster if it was shifted right...
09 Nytro XTX.........128mph in approx 1300' on ice. I'm running an McXpress Turbo in full trail mode. Now I need a set of extrovert drivers because the stock drivers just can't take the power.
I installed the MTX heat exchanger on my Nytro XTX last night. Cost was $207 canadian came with everything even detailed instructions. I'll be needing all the heat exchangers I can get because I'm in the process of installing an McXpress Turbo to run up nord style!
