I have a 2007 Apex and the guy I bought it from installed an SC10-III skid. I just replaced the ski carbides with 6" stud boy deuces and now I want to install Mack Studs in the track...does anyone have any suggestions for how many studs and is there a specific pattern you recommend?
UPDATE: i found the problem...there is a collar on the back side of the secondary clutch that somehow came out? After putting it back in the noise is gone. Hopefully it will stay in there. But we need more snow to find out lol.

I too have a leak and it looks like it might be coming from the bottom of the water pump? Im thinking that pulling the motor to replace the water pump is not the task im up for. Has anyone had luck using the antifreeze leak stop stuff and if so what kind?
Good point with the metal shavings. I will order a bearing and seal kit and clean everything else with brake cleaner.
I will also get a new bolt, Loctite it and torque it. Thx

I have the same problem and have a couple questions...
1) While I have it all apart should I replace bearings and seals?
2) Is there a torque requirement for that bolt?
3) Will epoxy such as JB Weld do the job sealing up the hole in the cover...
