    It’s finally over for Yamaha

Sad day... put MANY miles on the seats of Vector's, Vipers and Sidewinders before I made my switch over to Polaris in 2022. Heard the news this morning and had to jump on the TY forum for memories. Bittersweet day for sure.

Sniper Double Down Runners – 89 Series

Agreeed. 1000 miles on mine and zero complaints. Wife has 2800 miles on her double downs from last year and still sharp. I love the snipers so far and she will be switching to double downs for next season

    2020 Viper GT

I paid 8900 new with a 1 year warranty (1 season leftover) plus taxes.... I'd say for a GT that is a good price as long as theres no garbage set up fees.

    YES warranty

I'd agree with this. Personally always use Port Yamaha for parts, accessories, maintenance items etc. When I bought my sled, they didn't have the sled I was looking for so had to go elsewhere, but Kevin always gets my other business. First person I went to regarding the graphic issue. He said...

    YES warranty

I would agree with this. My 2018 has the side panel graphics peeling. Covered under YES warranty? NOPE. Sled hasn't even been on the snow for 2 seasons and the lower graphics are peeling. If you got it for free like I did then fine but if you paid for it I feel your pain too...

    2018 Viper Starting Issues Already???

This happened to me when I put mine on the right side last season..... sat for about 5 minutes still wouldn't stay running. Next time I cranked on it and it started I immediately leaned the sled over to the opposite side of the side it fell over on for about 30-40 seconds.... then ran fine. Had...

    Snowmobile Lift. Worth the cash?

Yep, I'm aware of that. for the little I actually use it, I just manually crank it up. Keeps my arms in shape haha

    Snowmobile Lift. Worth the cash?

I've got a Ground Up lift out of Madison and my drill will only lift the sled about 1/4 of the way up, then doesn't have the power....so after investing 300 in the lift I either need to invest in a hammer drill from Milwaukee ($300) or lift it with the manual handle when I have extensive...

Another New Years Awesome ride and Milestone for Viper

Congrats on the milestone! Love riding that area. Family has a cabin in the Townsend area so pretty familiar with the area. Usually never had "bad"trails in that stretch from Northern Oconto Co- through Forest, Langlade and Florence Co.

New to me 2015 viper sr ( new ski's)

I have C&A's with 6 inch snow stud double downs on them. They work awesome. Sleds goes where you point it and bites in the corners well. Wife has the same set up on hers and no complaints on her first ride last weekend on that set up.

    Was the ECU Flash done?

Call Port Yamaha, give them your VIN and they will tell you if you have the latest re-flash on it. They re-flashed mine, no issues. If you bought it new take it to the dealer you bought it from. Some dealers don't want the "risk" re-flashing a sled they didn't sell. I guess if they lose internet...

    cat skis

I personally would not spend 700$ on a ski set up. But at the time when I was looking for my sled, Cat skis were near the price of a set of C&A's were. So that's why I went the route I did. I do believe the Cat skis are leaps and bounds better than stock though!

    cat skis

Who's paying 500-700 for a ski setup? I run the C&A RZRs on both my Vipers with 6 inch double downs from snow studs and it was right around 400 a sled including the runners.
