Sorry if I was unclear. Bad gas will definitely affect a fuel injected engine, but won't cause an "intermittent" problem that can come and go in a second. Where in a carburated engine it can gum up the float so it sticks sometimes or have globs floating in the bowl that can temporarily plug jets.

I'll clear the codes and warm it up tomorrow, then take the tank off and take a good look at the coils and plugs.

I'll have to pull the gas tank tomorrow and check the coil plugs again. I will also load test the wiring to see if there are any weak spots that might be causing the problem while I'm at it. I've had the map sensors off several times, and don't remember seeing anything broken, but will take a...
