    95 vmax 600. It's was a DIRECT bolt on using the spacer that came with it, only needed to purchase the longer bolt (14mm x 1.5 x 40 or 45mm long) I ended up needing to put all the original shims between the clutch and drive bearing to get enough offset.

    So the question is should I order the bushing from the V Max or the Apex.

    I would think the V-max spacer would work with either the 95-96’ style or 97’+ style machining. Not sure if it’s still available from Yamaha. Cutting/grinding down a 97+ spacer shouldn’t be any issue either, it’s not a critical measurement, just keep shaving it down until you have little bit of float left.
