marsh14,
Is it possible to have you take a close look at your limiter straps on your sled? I have a XTX that seems to have added limiter straps to its diet. The straps usually seem to show wear at the bottom below the shaft. We have come to the conclusion that the lugs on the track are...
Picked up sled at dealer this evening and after a 4-mile test rideand we have another strap beginning to tear. I suggest all XTX owners to take a closer look at their straps to see if you are showing any wear. We compared my sled to 2 other sleds at the dealer and they appear that they will have...
Stewartb,
If you think about your front skid compressing every time you are hitting large bumps the slack in the straps is what is going to be caught on the lugs. As this happens it causes a spinning action to the strap on the shaft. My strap looks like it was torn from the washers but only...
I talked with Chris I believe his name was for a bit the other day and he seemed very helpful.

Yeah, I have my XTX at the dealer now for the same problem and they are blaming it on a sharp edge from the washer because mine tore next to the bolt and washer at the bottom. I only have 400 miles on it and am a little concerned that the washer was not the problem. I've been riding for quite...
I'm having trouble getting the sled to hook up. I feel a small amount of ski lift would be ok at launch as long as it was under control. The sled is set in the middle spring position along with the clicker in the mid as well,I'm (180lbs). Should I be messing with the weight transfer adjustments...
