My 07 venture has same problem. Idle Rpms will creep up to about 2600. If you adjust idle down it will creep up again. Sled runs great otherwise. Good power and economy.

Don't get Venture GT for solo riding. I suggest Vector LTX GT. I had 09 Venture GT. While a nice sled for what it was designed, It is a big heavy cumbersome sled. If your a BIG GUY you can make it work but most people would not be happy IMO. studdog

3/4 tp 1 inch of free sag should work. Remember your track should stretch some with more miles.

It is supposed to arrive 6-22. One of the problems with this issue is that you can't tell the fit til you try it on the machine. We'll see!

wHAT REALLY TORKS ME IS THAT THEY HAD THIS ISSUE BEFORE AND LET IT HAPPEN AGAIN. THEY'RE TRYING TO LOCATE A SHIELD THAT WILL FIT. tHE ONLY WAY TO KNOW IS TO PUT IT ON A SLED.

FXR seems to be a better buy for the $. Klim is also a quality product. I just bought FXR with Flotex for floatation for ice riding.

The sled is a 2010 Vector LTX GT. Non electric Track shock. No threaded adjustment just spanner wrench ans c-clip.

Anyone have factory initial setup instructions for the new suspension? Looks to me the rear spring adjustment is no longer threaded so you only have the shock cam adjustment and of course the c-clip. Any info apprciated. Studdog

Well their at it again. Extra tall windshields for Apex sleds screwed up! Bad molding by supplier again. This happened 2-3 years ago and we couldn't get a accessory windshields that fit. Same story. This really torks me off! Any one know where to find "good windshields" please let me know.
