Re: Float 2's
We need to verify fitment of everything first, but we are hoping to be able to do the Float 2s for around $150/set + shipping charges.
Still waiting on the final pricing for the A-arm kits from Skinz.
Float 2's
We machined a set of OEM Nytro MTX Float 2s today to accept the spherical bearings:
We just need to make the aluminum spacers now and test the fitment on the Skinz front end.
Based on what we saw on the set of Exit shocks that we received from rlcofmn, we should be able to...
The bearings that OFT will be using have a 19 degree maximum ball swivel. They are made from chrome plated, hardened bearing grade material with a 13,000 pound load rating.
We will test fit a Nytro with both the Exit and Float shocks that have been updated to ensure proper fitment throughout...
Shock update.
The Exit shocks are able to be upgraded. See below.
Thanls rlc ;)!
The OEM Float 2's can be upgraded as well. They will require a little more machining, but it can be done. Going to take a couple of days to complete the machining fixtures and I will post pics...
If we can retrofit the OEM shocks in a satisfactory manner, yes.
It may require sending your shocks in to be machined to use the spherical bearings however.
I will be getting the Float 2's back that originally came off of my 2010 SE to verify all of this in the next week or so.

Here's an update for everyone that is following this.
Skinz will be going ahead with production of these units in the very near future. Finalized pricing is approximately 1-2 weeks away and will include different price points for a base a-arm package up to an all-inclusive a-arm/shock...
Re: Got It!
I see one flaw in your scientific theory. You changed two things and solved the problem, therefore there is no way to determine which change actually solved the problem.
I'd still be curious if you took the anti-stab kit back off and rode the sled again whether the problem...
Yes, it's Skinz. Please don't bug them though, I'm doing a fine job of it myself. ;):D
To try and answer a few questions. They are "super close to to getting pricing and a final plan". Caleb's ( Nikolai ) feedback will be very important to them in determining the makeup of the final...
There was a slight interference with the tie-rod and the a-arm when the handlebars were fully turned on the first prototypes. One possible solution was the dog-leg in the tie-rod and that is why Nikolai is testing these.
When's the first test flight Nikolai?
