When did Billet-Y come out with their rail extensions?
Actually, I can answer that for you. It was after I did. See the dates on the following thread.

Nice first post BTW.
This is the first that I have heard of bending a tie rod. They are made of solid 3/4" 6061 aluminum. I'm sure the existing bend in the rod had something to do with you bending it more, but they are strong. Wondering if a gusset type plate welded on the inside of the bend may be a good idea...
OTM,
Try a little more pressure or preload on the front shock on the skid and then drop the air pressure or preload on the rear shock.
This will help with the steering effort.
The front and rear need to work in unison.

Swapped out the primary weights on my black beauty for riding in the highlands. Made a couple of tweaks on my PCV. Headed out to play in Big Sky, Montana with MTDream in two weeks.
:-o
At least you had snow....
Try not to run over the bumpy things under the snow, very rarely does anything good come from it.
And, not wearing a helmet = thinning the herd. ;)!
As they say, a picture is worth 1000 words.

Anyone that owns an OFT Reloctor should be able to recognize the difference in quality just from the pictures.
And, they are charging more $$$ for their sub-standard, and, dare I say it, "P.O.S."
Anyone fluent in...
Check and make sure that the jamb nut on the throttle cable didn't come loose on the bracket above the motor. You can access it through the PTO side of the motor. Seen it happen at least 10 times.
I should have been clearer with my post. The #648 that Lars mentioned ( which is green ) is not for threaded fasteners. The wicking which you mentioned ( green as well ) is #290.
Both green, different applications.
