Well there might not be any updates until maybee next year. But as I was told the rails would fit all FX Nytro models.
Why would you need new dropbrackets?? It is just new rails.. Kind of the same as extending your rails but with the better aproach angle of the XTX rails...
I got a mail fron ICEAGE. XTX aproach angle would be NO PROBLEM on the shorties geometry suspension. They sent me a quick CAD on it and it looked very nice, although it was 144" rails.. Thereby a 128 should not be a problem,... They take 500$ for custom rails.
If its just the plate and the belt you have to change you should just do it yourself... Might take an hour or so.. I bet the worst part is getting all the cord out from everywhere.. Or just remove the plate and run without it!
Look as I will be on one of those this year (a -09).. Couldnt find it in me to get another Nytro.. Just alittle to SAME SAME.. Still a Yamaha guy but fun to try something different... Will miss the engine though... ALOT!
What I was thinking was a rail with the tips further back witch would make tha aproach angle alittle better.
Kind of mooving the rails backwards without mooving any of the suspension parts. This would make for a more shallow approach angle but might not be possible in regards to all the...
Yes, I had a little nois comming from my sled after changing the track. Talked to my dealer and he asked if I bolted speedo side first? And of course I did... Loosened the bearing on speedoside and retorqued.. No more noise!
Anyone try making a set of rails that would lower the approach angle? Would it be possible?
Imo my Nytro is digging in the snow alot more than my cusins IQ.. And i mean ALOT!!! The Iq seems to float ontop of the snow. Although the Lynx PPS is not as good as the IQ in the snow it way is better...
Get the plastics of the back of the sled and it will come to you.. 2 bollts hold the seat but they are under the side panels on the back. A few plastic quickfasteners and 2 bolts hold the plastics on. After removing the bolts just slide the seat backwards like on most sleds.
I had CA Razors last year on my -08. Worked ok on almost all surfaces. Although they are tougher to turn than the SLP PP that i run now. And as Alatalo said, they just dont have the steering when the trails get soft..
Most of all the steeringeffort is worse on the CA skis, imo that is mostly...
True, but speed isnt a big deal for my. 140km/h on the meter is what i get with my RTX. Although i have changed my upper gear to a 20T so I dont think it will go any faster with that gearing.
I had a guy weld my brackets back together.. And he added app 3-4mm alu on both sides of the boltholes.. Now i have bent them a few times and they still just bend back.. PERFEKT!! Although a birch got my left plastics this weekend.. Damned tree to stand in the way!!!
