Just get alittle more tension on the center spring.. Do not adjust to much at ounce since it makes a lot of difference.. Maybee 2 turns and then try it.. The problem is that it might get the front shock alittle to stiff but go as much as you can handle without getting your as killed by the...
I know that the snowX racer on Nytro here in sweden did run both SLT and PP on his sled. For alot of trailriding id go SLT but if you are more of a allaround rider the PP is better. The SLT is better at reducing darting and they are supposed to be very easy on the steering.
There has been a few tests with SLP PP and all have been in favor of the PP as i understand. Alatalo tested them and compared them to CA ADX and Outlaws i belive. They turn like an ADX vith the steeringeffort app as stock ski but not as good as the outlaw (the outlaw I belive is HEAVY in...
I have the same idea, Why pull the limiter strap when all it does is make your sled ride lower. Why have a sled with alot of travel and then limit the travel?
That will probobly kill the front shock after a while. You should at least have it set so that the shock is almost all the way out before the strap kicks in.
If you want to be able to ride more of trail I´d go with what everyone else is saying. Get a set of skis. Id go for the SLP Powder Pro, thats what im going to put on my RTX. Or the stock mountainskis... I can not understand why Yamaha put a trailtrack on a "new form of crossover" sled...
Not really on topic but the talk about the weak skids I find interesting. Have had a -06 Nytro and now the FX Nytro RTX. The valving is as said crap but the old Nytro had one problem in the rear and that was those crappy inner wheels. The FX skid looks to be rock solid. No problems this far and...
The -08 standard Nytro has 9t drivers. I dont think they will put 10t on the -09s.... I have a 1,5" ripsaw and it fits no problems with 9t drivers and the protectors still in there...
