Rear of sled severe sag...... Pls help

I agree that if the nitrogen is low, yes it will affect ride height. As it usually happens over a longer period of time it can be hard to detect until it becomes really bad. A broken spring isn’t always obvious when riding, I didn’t find out mine was broken until I had the sled lifted in...

Rear of sled severe sag...... Pls help

China is famous for inconsistent heat treating and improper amounts of alloy in alloy steel. Basically if the quality can’t be seen with the naked eye they don’t give a rats a$$.

Rear of sled severe sag...... Pls help

Check for a busted spring, my front track shock spring broke at around 5k miles. All springs take an initial set then usually don’t fatigue much after that. That said the factory springs or almost any springs nowadays are made in China...... nuf said

    Check out the new Yamaha RMAX4 & RMAX2 1000!!!

Be prepared for the worst, I can smell it coming..... Oh the two cylinders make more torque BS. They will hang a turbo on this new two cylinder and offer it up in the YXZ. Yea it will outperform the current N/A 998 triple, with a bunch of nonsense about the smoother power curve. Then it will go...

    I'M BACK!!!!!!!

It’s THE fastest production snowmobile, it’s made for the a purpose. Don’t be like all these elderly guys driving around in corvettes going under the speed limit......that’s a waste. Use it for its intended purpose! Stop the wining and hold it to the bar for more than 2 seconds, you...

    Check your chain

I grease the outside of the McWedgy and the ramps, lightly oil the treads and full insert. Then torque to 45~50 ft/lbs. More than likely it wasn’t grabbing the shaft. It’s just a piece of heavy gauge stainless that’s in front of the pads protecting the caliper. I made it so it’s...

    Check your chain

You might want to replace the caliper anyway. I’ve noticed the brake pads wear into the soft aluminum caliper, this causes the pistons in the caliper to side load and scores the bore pretty bad after some time, around 7k miles. I ground the edge of the new pads down and made a stainless steel...

    Check your chain

A link failure that looks like that is either a manufacturing defect or a piece of debris floating around in the chaincase.

    Studding track

You can use a ratchet strap off the rear bumper hooked to a beam or something stout in your garage roof. That’s how I did it for years.
