The biggest problem with these companies is the people who are making the decisions don’t even ride the machines.

It’s not that hard to figure out. They hung a turbo on a Viper, creating the Sidewinder, it saved Yamaha from dropping out of the sled business. They already have the engine and tune, it’s a no brainer but apparently they lack common sense. A 240 horsepower YXZ would take the business by storm...

Yamaha needs an option like this.......

Nice guess! It’s a steam turbine out of a WW2 era Destroyer, not sure what class tho. It runs 24 hours a day 365 days a year, never an issue. It’s some crazy horsepower rating of like 15 thousand or sumfin. It turns a 7MW generator so it runs continuously at around half its horsepower rating...

I highly doubt anything has been done to resolve the driveshaft issues as well as the upper gear bushing problems. Yamaha is no longer the reliable option unfortunately. they learned that that reliability won’t sell your next years models. People have no clue what quality looks like anymore so...

FYI Running these large lug, unstudded tracks on trails should be illegal. It ruins the trails blowing snow off the corners way into the woods. A much safer alternative is a 1.25”~ 1.5” track with studs to prevent excessive track spin on the trail. If your off trail some, then the 1.5 will get...
