    Yamaheaters - Very Happy

Had my first trip "up north" this past weekend with the new sled and Yamaheaters. (450+ miles) Minus a self inflicted issue (bad ground connection) - very happy with the performance of the Yamaheaters. Ran them most of the weekend at one/two bars - at 5-10 degrees F and across a lake ran...

    Affordable cover?

X2 for the parts unlimited cover, covers down to the ski's. I haul in an open trailer. Amazon lists it only fitting through '05, other sites include the later model sleds. I can verify that this fits very nice on my '06. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0022Y ... 00_details

which front end bushing kit is best for 07 rtx ?

I second the OFT for Oillite steering blocks, I just put my set in today on my '06 Apex. Huge difference in play, it removed 85-90% of the handlebar play. Not too bad to do. -Matt

Copper exhaust donuts - are they worth it?

I just tore mine down that I just picked up used with 4900 miles, three donuts were completely gone. The last was half there. Sled is a lot more quiet now compared to when I picked it up. Luckily the clamps were turned on a couple but not loose enough to rattle. The y pipes had no wear...

Just picked up an 06 rtx. Problems already - y pipe removal

I tore mine down last night to do the donuts after buying it a couple weekends ago, similar situation where the four bolts are rusty. I held off trying to loosen them, I'm going to go the drilling the rivets out route. I'm lucky though the donuts are gone on two, no holes in the pipes. Good...
