Mike if I remember correctly , you removed your cold air intake and returned to the stock air intake. After doing that for a bit , do you still believe the stock air box is better at supplying cool air to the turbo?
I also have had good luck with mine , 2300 kilometers and routine maintenance with a coupe of preventive measures. Roll over valve replaced with a hose, chain case roller welded and oil tanked resealed. I did those three mods before i experience any problems. So far really happy with this sled
Well I am heading out on my first ride of the year and after reading this post, I had to tear into my chain case and look. It was all good... and bolts where tight, but tack welds done anyway.I have been on this sidewinder since 2017, and because I have followed the info on here.....I have...
Well I understand the logic of the Muti tune bundle. But the question I have is, what is the difference between the two tune companies product. I'm really interested in more power at lower throttle level. And have heard about this quick spool having this throttle response. Is the max spool...
I have no brand allegiance at all, I presently run a powertrail set up and have had nothing but good luck, No blown belts, lots of power and never skipped a beat. But I want more. I would really like to see a dyno report of the difference between the two. I know a lot of guys will sing the...
Can some one please explain too me the difference between Powertrail and Max Spool 16 . I have had Powertrail for two years now and would like a little more but dont want to have fuel issues. Is Max Spool 16 a step up?
My bad... I guess I got the angles wrong ,my limited understanding of clutching leads me to believe that helix is totally wrong for what I want. I'm glad I read this before I headed out and ordered one.
Can some one please tell me if the 39/35 helix will give a little bit more snap down low. I have a powertrail tune with the corresponding clutching using the stock helix. The machine run perfect, and I have never blown a belt since new ,2800 kilometers ago. I also would like a little more snap...
Unless yours is much louder than everyone else's. Your over reacting period. No question it's annoying at a idle. But when driving its barely audible.
But good luck with whatever you buy.
Could this issue be related to power, and more specifically the way the power is delivered. Seems that a lot of us don’t have a belt issue. I have noticed in this thread stock machines, and my PT tune don’t blow belts.
But some of the quick spool guys are. Not trying to start a tune battle...
I'm no professional tuner, just Joe blow trail rider. I now have 2300 kilometers on the original belt from last year. 1100 this year on a PT tune and the belt still looks great. Don't know if the belt is a good one or am I just lucky. But some of us have had good luck. Sure hope I have not jinxed...
Well I thought about buying a new sled just for the adjustable shocks via the handle bar switch. But I would have to give up my present 17 with 2500 trouble free kilometres. I put the TD powertrail tune with there recommendations on clutching and have never touch a dam think.
Mind you I did the...
