Starting trouble I believe starting a Apex in cold weather is a bigger issue then most guys think. I was ridding in a group of three Apex's last winter in Val Dor Quebec. We woke up to minus 35 Celsius and none of the sled would start. That is none of the sleds in out group,but the 4 1200 Doos...

Tuners Sorry to hear your having trouble with the tuner's. Just went through the same problems you are describing on my friends new Apex. He bought the tuners based on the positive feed back from this site. But we where never able to see the same benefits others are experiencing with them...

Well I don,t know which mod is best. But most guys seem to think the air box lid "Ram Air Mod" makes the most power. And there is a full article about it on here if you do a search. Does any one know if the lid can be removed from the box with out taking off the headlight assembly?

Also can some one tell me if the Tall windshield from Yamaha that uses the braces makes a lot of noise. I had a thundercat that when I installed the tall windshield made a horrible buffeting sound in my helmet. I want to buy the tall windshield for my APEX but not if it is loud. :rocks:

Can a guy put the snow flap from a newer style Apex on to a 06 Apex?I want to update the flap on mine because it is chewed up some. I sure like the one I saw on a 08 better and hope I can retrofit mine.
