What changed from the viper primary to the sidewinder?

FYI for future, go buy a $10 hand transfer pump to remove gas from gas tank instead of removing the tank.

Anyone else find the viper mtx is hard to get to turn? have a 153 inch track and sidewinder mtx skis and the skis turn but don’t seem to grab. If I lean way back on the seat it seems to turn better, almost like it has to much ski pressure. thinking about softing up the rear skid shock ..??

I’m surprised no one has made a catch can to vent the separator into, instead of the airbox.

Behind the muffler to the left (rear of sled) of the radiator cap. There will be 2 hoses on the top and one hose on the bottom of the separator

Is this from the oil going threw the pipe from oil separator into the air box? Find it strange they would plumb the oil line from the separator into the air box/intake.

Thanks again! Really didn’t want to split the air box to check. The pipe pulled out of the air box when I wasn’t watching so I wasn’t sure how it looked before it pulled out.

Finally got a picture to post. just to verify this is correct? The pipe just sits loosely into the grommet in the air box? And nothing attached to the inside of the air box?

I changed my oil separator and the pipe that goes from oil separator to the airbox pulled out of the air box. Is there anything inside the air box that this pipe attached to? Or does the pipe just slide into the grommet in the airbox? trying to upload picture but it says file is to large

Does it have Old gas? Did you call Yamaha and give them your VIN to verify it has the newest flash? Any mods done to the sled?

There has to be a reason the viper engagement is so high. Even the nytro has similar engagement rpms.

Did you have to add shims since the length of the P-P-P is 83.4 vs the G-G-G is 87.9? what Rpm does it engage at?

How many miles? Sounds like valves need adjusted.
